I founded Vasey Financial Services in 2010 because I wanted to build a practice around something simple: learning what my clients actually want from their lives and helping them get there. Most of my work centers on people approaching or already in retirement—a transition that brings more questions than most people expect.
What matters to me is being someone you can trust with straight answers. I hold my Series 7, 6, and 65 registrations through LPL Financial and earned my CFP® certification because I genuinely enjoy both the people side and the financial side of this work. But honestly, the credentials aren't what get me up in the morning. It's the daily satisfaction of knowing I helped someone move forward with more clarity than they had before.
I'm originally from Maxwell, a small town in Iowa, and graduated from Iowa State University. These days I live in Grimes with my wife and two sons. I've always believed in treating people the way I'd want to be treated—it's not complicated, but it matters.
When I'm not working, I'm usually with my family, watching or attending Iowa State Cyclones games, cheering on my sons at their activities, or just spending time together. Family comes first, always.
